In this video we are removing this sycamore tree to allow the old metal frame of a barn to be rebuilt. We left the stem roughly 2 meters high to potentially allow regrowth. The rotten wooden beams did not matter if they got broken as they were being replaced. We could not break the metal posts however. The work is even better when things can be just chopped off and nothing matters underneath. Logs stayed with customer for firewood and chip was sent for biomass. Thank you for watching.
