Hi everyone, Paul and I thought it would be nice to share some pictures and video clips of our time playing live through the years, and our song 'Battle Scars' seems the right background music for this trip down memory lane.
Our band members changed a lot over time, but during the later years, it was always Bob Bampton on bass and Mark Gordon on drums, they are great players and still great friends of ours.
Sometimes when band members couldn't make a gig, me and Paul would play as an acoustic duo but we always preferred playing as a four piece band. We played over 1000 gigs during those days and definitely got the battle scars to prove it haha, so many late nights and long road trips in battered old cars and vans, criss-crossing many counties to get home in the early hours. We have lots more pictures and video clips to share with you, so I will try to make another video of the good old days as soon as I can. We hope you enjoy it. Our grateful thanks to all the photographers who took the time to take pictures and video clips for us-and especially to our friend Bill Pearson, a great photographer who was, and still is, always there for us with his perfect sense of art, expertise and talent. And to our wonderful Brenda Oakley-Carter and Paul Oakley, they managed to get some great video clips that we treasure and they always made every gig better just by being there and lending their support, hugs and friendship, they are the best.
Thank you to you all for watching and for your wonderful and loyal support. We are so lucky to have such awesome fans, you are always appreciated.
