Hi all. This time, I'm gonna share how to make baked appam (Klatenese Appam, Javanese Appam). For you guys who come from Klaten, I'm sure you're very familiar with this cake as many people in Klaten are participated in making appam during the tradition of Sebaran Appam.

I found out that baked appam (Klatenese Appam, Javanese Appam) tastes very delicious. It's not only served in special occasions, but also perfect for your morning or afternoon tea.


Let's get the ingrediets ready
-250 grams of rice flour
-250 grams of all purpose flour
-350 grams of sugar
-2 eggs
-some ripen jackfruit slices
-50 grams of margarine, melted
-1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of vanilla powder
-1 tsp of instant yeast (Fermipan)
-350 ml of water
-50 grams of tapay (sweet fermented cassava)
