Hannah Curry's eyes glisten and fill as she recounts memories of her little sister Niamh, whom tragically lost her life to a rare childhood cancer known as Neuroblastoma, at aged 5 years old.

In this emotional interview, intended to raise awareness for the leading Neuroblastoma Charity set up in her memory, "Niamh's Next Step", I had the honour of working once again with the Curry family, whom have tirelessly campaigned to fund research into the treatment for a childhood cancer that is little known, remains almost unresponsive to conventional treatment and receives no government support here in the UK.

I was captivated by Niamh's spirit, encapsulated in each of her family members and I volunteered to create videos for the charity in my early days as an independent Video Producer and Storyteller.

Over the years I have had the great pleasure and privilege of conveying the spirit of "NNS" on screen with the production of many moving and inspiring interviews and video projects created for the purposes of raising both awareness and funds.

Many of my short films were premiered live at Niamh's Next Step's Annual Charity Gala Ball's - These were magical moments for me, standing, usually behind the anonymity of my camera lens, witnessing the audience journeying through emotions in real-time, that I had often spent weeks paving.

This particular video remains one of my favourites, leaving an imprint on my soul. Least of all because the edit come in at 5 minutes and 55 seconds. #Forever5 is a charity hashtag.

Other highlights from my time spent creating with Niamh's Next Step include filming at a number of star-studded events and mingling with sporting legends such as Frank Bruno and Anthony Joshua. (   • Anthony Joshua | NNS | SLC84  )
