Comparing the benefits of upgrading the factory head unit versus upgrading the factory speakers. Pros and cons of both options but here is what I found testing between a 2012 Ford Mondeo and 2008 Ford Focus that had the Ford 6000CD head unit as standard. The replacement speakers were Alpine SPS-610C with Dynamat and the head unit was a Sony DSX-A400BT.
