Picture this thought experiment: Valve announces that half of the unlockable weapons in TF2 would be deleted - however, the community would be the ones to decide which weapons got to stay and which ones had to go. In this case, which weapons would you choose? Well, that's the discussion that ‪@fishstickonastick-gaming‬ and I wanted to have, and as it turns out, the decisions were a lot harder to make than we expected.

"Why upload this on your side channel instead of your main?" The direction my main channel is heading is beginning to warrant higher and higher quality per video which I don't think lesser-edited videos like this uphold very well. While there's definitely an audience for this sort of thing, most people on Great Blue are there for the maps with friends and "What if?" videos, and I want (most of) the uploads on there to have time put into them rather than being unfiltered 2+ hour discussions. There's still plenty of quicker stuff I enjoy making, though, so Blue's Roost is my compromise so that I can continue to make these "auxiliary" videos without compromising my quality and tanking my metrics on Great Blue. Who knows - if videos on this channel become popular, maybe I'll consider putting some more time into them and moving them back over. (Plus, should I ever decide to move my main channel away from TF2, I'll still want somewhere established to talk about TF2 stuff since I can't imagine myself ever completely leaving this game.)
