In the off season, its important for goalies to keep their skills sharp and work on their fundamentally flawed areas of their game. The Keep It Sharp clinic which sees close to 75 goalies over a 3 day period for the next 5 weeks, continually pushes goalies to work on their core mechanics and skill sets each week while also paying close attention to the areas of their game that need polishing and tweaking while attending this clinic during the spring time.

All goalies, no matter what their skill level is, have all gone through stretches when their skill sets and confidence have somehow vanished and they felt unsure of themselves throughout the season and even while training in the spring and summer during the off season.

The reason why Bandits Goalie School offers various spring clinics is to give goalies the ability to stay sharp with their dominate skills but more importantly to improve and tweak their flawed skills sets and bring them back into their game with confidence, development and growth the following season.

The Keep It Sharp clinic offers an atmosphere that will push each goalies out of their comfort zone, challenge goalies to learn new techniques and work on repetition to develop advanced skills to increase ones playing potential on and off the ice.

Drills are designed to simulate game situations to work on agility and recover of which are designed for all ages. Bandits also prides itself on creating an unmatched on ice intensity with not only the goalies but having highly skilled shooters at every station to make each goalie work for every shot!

At Bandits we tell our students to Have A Purpose when playing. Dont just go out and practice for 60 or 90 minutes, go out and practice with a purpose. Pay attention to detail, work on 3 or 4 things throughout the course of each practice and youll begin to see a change in your physical and mental game. This is what makes an average goalie, a great goalie. Staying persistent with your work ethic and youll eventually be rewarded!
