This song is, by design, a happy, upbeat, anthemic, country-bluegrass remix of an old punk song that I wrote way back in 1995. (I'm not going to get into the backstory, it's a sad story with a happy ending) but I will be happy to post a link to the original 1995 East Bay (CA) skate punk track below. And on that topic, the entire catalog--four albums-- of my old punk band "Eightna-Quarter" is available on YouTube and everywhere that streams music, if any of you are interested.

Anyhoo, this remix is a gift, a present for the very same wonderful person that I wrote the awful original song about, so many moons ago. Time is a patient teacher, and I am so very blessed! This version of the song aims to file the edges off the teeth of the original, by merit of the fact that this one is just such a damn beautiful song---and not a mean song.

I've been on this real country-bluegrass kick, lately! I just feel home there for some reason, I don't know. I've been getting more into agriculture, so it's probably just a side-effect of that, haha Sorry about it, subs! I sometimes wonder if my subs aren't thinking "what the heck are you doing, Tyler?
