Problem with oil burner, just thought is was a pump seal, but not from there as I put on a new pump, something more serious. I am not running the burner anymore using electric heat. New Suntec pump, new .75 80A nozzle, retention head or cone dry, no carbon. Oil splashing around, wet gun assembly, oil gets in cad cell and under transformer, if you watch till the very end you can see oil coming out from the bottom of the furnace, not burning in the combustion chamber. Gun nozzle set proper distance from retention head. No leaks in oil line, good flow after prime. The chimney and flue are clean, damper working fine. No puffbacks or booms. Electrodes set with wayne gauge. CO detectors showing normal.
