This Christmas Tree was made with 2 led strip type WS2812, 5m 30 IP30, powered with 5V
It has 10 parts of 1 meter long and each part is composed of 30 Leds.
A Wemos D1 (ESP8266) was flashed with WLED firmware
I used Xlights to create the effects and sequence. Then I used FPP in one raspberry pi that receives the sequence from Xlights and sends the data to WLED using a wifi connection.
Some details of configuration:
Flash ESP8266 with WLED - https://kno.wled.ge/ using tasmotizer
Configure a tree on Xlights based on the size and number of Leds
Configure the controller and add udp connection to load configuration on FPP
Create a sequence in Xlights http://xlights.org/
Install FPP in raspberry pi - set wifi connection
Upload the sequence on FPP through Xlights under tools tab and “FPP Connection”
Control your tree sequence via app on you mobile phone via FPP
