In this video I put an end once and for all to the lie of American decline. While it may be true that the American economy was growing a little faster during the post WWII era than later on in the 20th century, the reality is that standards of living have continued to rise throughout the 20th century and into the 21st. Certainly in absolute terms things are much, much better now than they were then.
