It’s time to say goodbye to my trusty Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer and switch to the Numark Scratch, moving from Traktor DJ to Serato DJ Pro.

This isn't a review—just me sharing what’s happening in my home studio and my thoughts behind the switch. The Traktor Z2 has served me well over the years, and while it’s a great DJ mixer, it's been feeling a bit unreliable lately. I felt it was time for something new.

If you’re like me—a home studio user who doesn’t need all the extra bells and whistles on a battle mixer—the Numark Scratch is more than enough. That’s my honest opinion!
