Ever since the new Amazon FBA Inventory Placement Fees kicked in back in March 2024, we've been talking about hacks and ways to potentially get around the fees by using software platforms like NemShip, 2DWorkflow, NineYard, ShipmentMakerPro, etc. I've personally used the software to build shipments, and then force the shipments to one location. Each time, there was no inventory placement fees quoted, but I've advised cautiously that it's something that could come back to bite us.

Amazon has sent warning emails suggesting that they can see the shipments being created, abandoned, or deleted when the 3rd party software creates the shipments via API and is warning of possible consequences and penalties including inbound defect fees and inventory placement fees.

In this video, Fred goes over the warning that Amazon sent to many sellers and discusses his plan of action until it's become more apparent what is actually happening.
