After newly drafted Troy Aikman and the Dallas Cowboys finished their season 1989 season with a 1-15 record, Aikman and the team grew frustrated. Feeling a lot of the pressure falling on his shoulders, Aikman was in search of improvement - whether that came from requesting a trade or looking within.
