“I am interested in MBA but a bit perplexed ki karna kya hai,” said Harsh Shandilya, a 2nd-year English (Hons.) student of DU. With a low CGPA, Harsh was considering retaking IPMAT. He sought guidance from Akshat Negi, a seasoned mentor and alumni of IIM Ahmedabad.

Akshat advised against dropping out, emphasising the value of Harsh’s college. He also highlighted the advantage of diverse educational backgrounds in interviews and stressed the importance of profile building. In Akshat’s words, “Focus on internships and CGPA, these will matter the most.”
Feeling motivated, Harsh left with a clear strategy for his MBA.
