One of the most challenging but key piano playing skills is playing one hand louder than the other. Generally speaking, the right hand has the melody and needs to stand out more. If you play both hands at the same volume, the melody will get lost or ''covered up'' by the left hand chords. This videos talks about why playing different volumes in each hand is hard and gives you exercises to solve this difficult problem.
