We talked to vocalist Shifty and guitarist Elias from the band "Crazy Town" on saturday at the PULL THE TRIGGER party.
After starting the band in 1995 under the name "The Brimstone Sluggers" they released their debut album "The Gift Of Game" in 1999. It was not until 2001 when their third single "Butterfly" went viral. This well known song stayed for more than 19 weeks as a #1 hit on Germany's chart list, the album itself was sold over a million times.
Shifty Shellshock, who was a founding member of Crazy Town, talks about the very first years of the band and mentions also the rough times they went through. Besides drug problems it was also the death of a band member which made it very difficult for Crazy Town to continue working.
The band now has a lot of future plans for 2017, after many band member changes Crazy Town seems to be on a very good path to build upon their former success.
