Join us on an unforgettable 7-day adventure through the stunning backcountry of Algonquin, Ontario. We journeyed across serene lakes, tackled challenging portages, and even stayed in a historic ranger cabin with no electricity or running water. Our trip started at Paudash Lake, venturing through Farm, Booth, Kitty, and Galeairy Lakes, and included a thrilling mountain bike ride along the Madawaska River.

Throughout the trip, we were completely immersed in nature—drinking only filtered lake water, cooking meals over fires built from ancient pine logs, and traveling by a two-person inflatable kayak, carrying 400 pounds across three lakes. We double carried a 90m and 550m portage twice, camped under the stars, and bathed in the lake during a rainstorm. With no service and only the wilderness to keep us company, this journey was a true test of endurance and a deep connection to nature. After a brief pause at a family cottage, we returned for two nights of regular camping near the car before heading back to London. This video captures the essence of our journey—raw, challenging, and utterly beautiful.
