How to test a regulator rectifier (RR unit) of motorcycle with multimeter (pulsar 150)

One tip when your are testing the regulator rectifier , don't test it immediately after use on motorcycle as the circuit will be heated up and diode readings might not come between the limits .
It happens with me , when i buy my new RR unit it shows reading above 500 (0.5 vol) in normal temperature , but when i was making video the room temperature was high and my readings got reduced to 485 (0.48) which is still in limit , but it may happen with you so be aware of this situation.
