The IDF is deploying its 98th Division to northern Israel amid rising tensions with Hezbollah following deadly pager blasts in Lebanon. The paratroopers and commando division will now join the 36th Division under Northern Command, reported The Times of Israel. A ceremony commemorating the fallen soldiers of the IDF’s Golani Brigade that was supposed to be held on Sept. 18 has been postponed. The event has been deferred amid heightened tensions on the northern front with Lebanon. The Israel army said it is determined to change the security situation on the Lebanon border as soon as possible, as per a report. Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Israel’s Western allies should feel "shame" following the explosions in Lebanon.
