This is a video about the convertible bed (aka futon) I built for my Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 Conversion I've been working on. I couldn't find any futons that didn't take up at least 36" when folded up, and I wanted something closer to the width of the driver's seat, or about 26". And it had to convert to become a full size bed. It works great and allows for tons of open floor space when folded up.

This video talks about the pros and cons of having a convertible bed in a van, as well as most of the design challenges.
