The Volumes, a rhythm and blues/soul vocal group from Detroit, Michigan, made one record for Hy Weiss' Old Town Records, issued in January of 1964. This acetate of that record, "Why", with "Monkey Hop" on the B side, was recorded at the Bell Sound Studio in New York City. The acetate is dated September 26, 1963 with a handwritten notation of "1st remix" on both sides. This copy is currently for sale on my eBay page at https://www.ebay.com/usr/doowoptrb
