Ghidorah escaped Monster Island, and for a short while, there was peace, until a second Godzilla suddenly showed up in Seattle and started wrecking everything in sight. This causes Gamera, a monster who swore to protect earth and all who live in it, to awaken from his 1,000 year sleep to stop him.
