How I glue up and turn a tumbling bowl or platter..
This is a Stair Step Illusion Effect
This is a good exercise in making very accurate cuts. I find it very rewarding.
Once glued up your blank can be made into what ever shape you wish.
This one is a small bowl or dish. To make a deeper bowl you would just start with thicker pieces.
I use glue jigs I made a few years ago but it can be done without them. Once you have one row glued up it can become a fixture for gluing the rest.
This turning is 7" diameter and 1" tall.
