Kicking off a new series today of piano masterclasses. I'm going to be listening through this performance of the Burgmuller Ballade by Rachel. The hope is that it can be really helpful for anyone learning this piece, but also we'll pull some generalities out to help with any piece.

If you want to send in a clip of yourself playing for the series in the future just follow the instruction below.
1. Record piece with phone (regular quality is fine, nothing fancy)
2. Watch out for distractions or things in the frame that would prevent me from using your clip
3. You don't have to show your face, side view of hands is best

4. You MUST give me clear permission to use your clip for a video. I don't want to run into any trouble with the big guys at YouTube. You can copy this line if you want:
