Please note that Connected by August has been rebranded Yale Access, but the WiFi units and functionality are identical and both work with the apps Yale Access and August Home apps, which are also identical once installed. The WiFi/Bluetooth kit can be purchased as part of a bundle or as an upgrade to an existing Yale Assure Lock (Gen 1) and includes a Door Sense Sensor and plug-in WiFi bridge that must be installed near the smart lock to access WiFi features. I've also replaced our keyed doorknob with the Yale Navis push/pull levers, although its installation is not shown in this video. Teh Assur Lock is avilable in both keyed and keyless version and the latest model, the Assure Lock 2 utilizes an external 9V battery terminal to prevent accidental lockout.
