In this Hari Raya special, we soak in the festive mood at the Geylang Serai Market and Food Centre, a marketplace specialising in Malay food and clothing, during the pre-Hari Raya shopping spree. After two long years of disrupted Hari Raya celebrations due to the pandemic, this Hari Raya is particularly special as it is the first full-blown celebration without group size limits since 2019. In this video, we soak in the Hari Raya mood as families shop in preparation for the joyful celebrations that mark the end of Ramadan, the holy month in the Muslim calendar.
