Luis de Leon representing Brazil in one of the biggest drag races in the world for cars with radial tires!

In today's episode I went to Alabama to accompany Luis de Leon and the BAR team at the FuelTech Radial Outlaws, a drag race that Luis races with a Camaro ProMod V8 blower in the Radial vs The World category with cars with radial tires of almost 4,000 hp and without being able to use a wheelie bar. The strongest category of the event, where cars can have blower, nitro, turbo, supercharger preparation and a world record with Stevie ''Fast'' Jackson who is a driver and tuner for Sidnei Frigo (Grandão) in Brazil.

At this event I was able to closely follow all the work of Luis' team, whose partner and team leader is our Ford guy Felipe Andreis, with a lot of experience in drag racing in Brazil, today he lives here in the USA working as a workshop leader but also lends his hand in the masses at the races. For this role, it requires a lot of experience to mainly solve the car's problems during passes, it is a car with almost 4,000 hp accelerating over 201m.

Luis' second race with the blower car and then the challenge is even greater, the difficulties are not just with the car, but with the entire schedule, it's training, qualifying and then straight to the elimination race, a race against time literally to be the fastest on the track.
