This video is trying to portray the cultural rituals that us as the new generation often forget and are more interested towards the modern adaptation of the festival which includes Fashion shows , Dance competitions and so on. I have nothing against those talent programs because it also helps hidden talents to rise up but then again the importance of the meaning of Nyokum is fading away slowly and the youths are more interested towards these events .
celebrating Nyokum is our birth right and we as tribals should not forget about that but taking part in the rituals and prayers is one's own choice which should not be confused with .
