The LT155 project is done, so this will likely be the last video of it before I sell it. I wish I could keep this machine around because of it's sentimental value to me, but at least I'll know where it is and I can still work on it for the owner if need be. The second half of this video features mowing with the LT155 to make sure it was fully functional and ready to go. I've been using it around the house here and there, for mowing and pulling the lawn sweeper.

It only took me a couple days to get the LT155 all fixed up. It cleaned up really nice after a good pressure wash. I installed a new hood and decals, and I changed the oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, RIO switch, and a couple other small things on the tractor. I took the flywheel cover off and removed the mouse nests and dirt buildup from inside the engine cooling fins. I popped the headlight lenses off, replaced the headlight bulbs, and cleaned the lenses and the inside of the housing. When I started the machine back up, the headlights worked!

I also removed the mower deck to fix some of the poor welds and rust holes around the gauge wheels. At the shop, we used the torch to cut the old welds off, then ground the surface down and welded a piece of 1/16" steel over the holes. Then we welded the gauge wheel bracket on and I gave both gauge wheels a quick shot of primer and paint. I didn't measure correctly when welding, so the one gauge wheel bracket was welded in too far and was rubbing the left front tire, so I shortened the bracket, drilled a new hole, and added a couple washers and spacers to move the gauge wheel out a bit further.

Of course, I also pressure washed the deck, greased it, and undercoated it with the used engine oil to prevent rust.
