Welcome back! In this wood turning video I'll be turning maple wood burl into a vase. Cast it in epoxy, turn to a vase shape, hollow out, dye with keda dye and give it a lacquer finish! This was a first for a vase for me.
And I've gotta say this one was one came out beautifully! I used Alumilite amazing clear the the epoxy, Eye Candy mica powder in the epoxy, Keda Dye for the wood burl, Deft clear gloss lacquer then wet sanded and buffed.
