ARTFLICKS SUPPORTS EMERGING ARTISTS TO CREATE AND DISTRIBUTE ORIGINAL CONTENT DESIGNED FOR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

Through a series of online workshops, emerging artists including dancers, spoken word artists, poets, musicians, visual artists, combined artists, writers and theatre makers will learn how to elevate their practice to mainstream digital platforms and create original artistic work that appeals to wide digital audiences.

Artflicks will deliver online workshops and talks from experts including artist filmmakers, directors, social media producers and digital marketeers. The workshops will be followed by a unique commissioning opportunity with Rural Media to make short creative content, distributed through the newly created Artflicks social channels including TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.

Online workshops will take place between November and December 2023 with details of commissions released shortly after. Though the commissions are for emerging artists aged 18-24, anybody can attend the workshops.
