Hansi Flick REVEALED FC Barcelona' Squad for Next Season and It's Impressive!

As of this moment, Hansi Flick's Barcelona is a mystery...

But with each passing day and each piece of news, this puzzle is coming together!

We are afraid that Barça fans will not be ready for what we are going to tell you today!

Next season's Barcelona is not what everyone thinks they are!

Get ready for the truth, and let's dive into it! Here we go!

No money

Let's be honest: Barça do not have much financial power in the market.

Even if they manage to settle all the issues with the financial fair play for the next season and return to the 1:1 rule, cules shouldn't expect any big signings: no more than 2-3 transfers, which will be approved by the board of directors based on the money raised from certain sales that are already underway.

You see, Laporta and his team are looking for additional funding for the club and are close to concluding a new 10-year contract with Nike for a total of €1.1 billion. Besides, the Catalans are working on the sale of Barca Vision, which will bring them the €40 million that Blaugrana have not received from the German investment fund Libero. These are the upcoming deals that could significantly improve the Spanish giants' financial situation...

... however, at this point, the news about FC Barcelona is nothing but utter nonsense:

"FC Barcelona will listen to offers for Ilkay Gündoğan because of the FFP situation," reports Toni Juanmarti.

And what about the following news, which has recently popped up in the media?

"Barcelona are not yet in a position to register Hansi Flick's contract".

"Barcelona have not been able to register the new contracts of Gavi, Araujo, Balde, and are having problems registering the contracts of Vitor Roque and Iñigo Martinez for the upcoming season".

Absolutely SHOCKING situation!

Still, Barcelona supporters are no strangers to having the same bunch of problems every single transfer summer.

The biggest problem is that president Laporta tends to sell something in advance to have the money immediately.

"Bread for today, hunger for tomorrow. The story never stops," Spanish media write.

Barça already making sales

Well, Barça wouldn't be Barça if they didn't work on solving its financial problems.

Right now, the Catalans are actively involved in sales and in fact, they are close to reaching the sum of €33 million generated during this offseason: the club has raised €9-10 million, according to various sources, on the transfer of Chadi Riad to Crystal Palace - Blaugrana retained 50% of the player's rights and therefore profited on this move along with Real Betis. Sampdoria also used the buyout option for Estanis Pedrola and permanently signed the striker for €3 million. The next deal features Marc Guiu, who is finalizing his move to Chelsea - the Blues are willing to pay a release clause of €6 million. And finally, the most expensive expected transfer out so far is the departure of Mikayil Faye to Porto for €15 million.

In other words, taking step by step, by mostly selling Barça Atletic's assets, Blaugrana will eventually solve its financial struggles, which takes us to the next point.

Laporta does not want big sales

'It is not necessary to make a big sale. We have increased income. We are close to resolving a situation that last year gave us fair play,' Joan Laporta claimed in an interview with the club's Barca One channel in early June.

The Catalan media sources provide different details on the matter, but still confirm the president's words:

"Maybe Laporta doesn’t mind selling one of the team's leaders, but it would have a very negative impact on his rating. Because Joan thinks like a politician, that's why he has no intention to pull off big sales like Frenkie de Jong's or Ronald Araujo's departure, for whom the market is ready to pay huge money".

This idea can also explain his disputes with Xavi regarding transfer deals, which eventually surfaced in the press. In fact, the former Barcelona boss didn’t mind parting ways with Frenkie, Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Araujo - although, Barca’s officials were against this turn of events, demanding new approaches to cooperation with the team's roster, which they considered to be of sufficient quality to compete for all trophies. In the end, Hansi Flick was put in charge of the club instead, assuring the management of his ability to take the team to the next level.

So, NO BIG SALES, except perhaps for HUGE MARKET OPPORTUNITIES, among which are the likely departures of Ilkay Gundogan and Raphinha to Saudi Arabia clubs.

Working with available assets

Speaking of transfers in. Laporta was quite direct during his conversation with the Barca One journalist: "Christensen has played as a defensive midfielder, but it is a position in which an addition must be made and players from Barça Atlètic will come up, like Marc Casadó, who is having a phenomenal season".
