http://www.ht2ff.com Bonnie Grice speaks with filmmaker Kristina Borjesson after her film "TWA Flight 800" screens at HT2FF. Trans World Airlines Flight 800 exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near East Moriches, New York, on July 17, 1996 – 12 minutes after takeoff from JFK airport, killing all 230 people on board. The man who led the aviation investigation called it the largest in U.S. and world history. It was also the most controversial. In this documentary a team of insiders from that investigation come forward to uncover what really happened to TWA Flight 800.

Kristina Borjesson, an award-winning print and broadcast journalist, is known for her superior investigative skills and taking unusual approaches to difficult subjects. TWA Flight 800 is her first feature documentary. The challenges she encountered reporting on this story led to her publishing the book, Into the Buzzsaw: Leading Journalists Expose the Myth of A Free Press.
