Their songs are an eclectic mix of Pop, R'n'B & Blues, Psychedelic Rock, Soul, Country, Jazz and Ska. On stage, they take turns behind the microphone and juggle from one instrument to another.

KD&L have spent the last three years writing songs and building a new analogue studio in an abandoned Indian restaurant in Camden Town.

With their studio and 16-track recorder in hand, they knew they wanted to push their third album to a new level of songwriting, arrangements, style, production and sound.

An early fan, Mick Jones of The Clash, was keen to be involved, and as producer immediately started weekly rehearsals with KD&L at their home, learning and playing the songs, just as he had done in the studio. he was working with the Libertines.
