Janeu is a sacred thread which is worn in a ceremony called upanayanan. It is the practice that marked the acceptance of a student by a guru and an individual's initiation into a school in Hinduism. This practice is widely discussed in ancient sanskrit texts of Hinduism. When I got to know the scientific reasons behind it. So I thought to share this with you guys. But in this era, it's just a practice in which people are performing it, just for the sake of ancient rituals without knowing the REAL MEANING behind it.
