TBT: In 2014, Sasha DiGiulian became the first woman rock climber to ascend Viaje de los Locos—one of the hardest multi-pitch climbs in the world. 330 meters (1,082 ft) above ground, this seven pitch climb on the Italian island of Sardinia was a rock climbing feat that only one team before had successfully ascended.
The then 21-year old Sasha DiGiulian teamed up with her climbing partner Eduard Martin Garcia to take on the extremely difficult climb, ending with Sasha becoming the first woman to reach the top, and the pair becoming the second team in history to ascend.
