Part 1 of a 4-part subseries of our "how to" guide for converting acoustic pianos to digital pianos for less time and money than a professional rebuild (with arguably excellent results). In this part we start disassembly of the cabinet and remove the strings and tuning pins.
This series is a work in progress and build kits are in development here at our shop to enable a piano tech or good DIYer to do this conversion. Watch for updated links showing kits when they become available.
