Homeless for about a year and still alive to tell the story. I'm not perfect, but I'm striving to be better. today I value the things that I use to take for granted. I acknowledge the Lord. I would have never made it this far without the Lord. God uses People. People who saw my struggle and helped. But at the end of the day, It is my ambition and enthusiasm that will catapult me into the next phase of life.

Things you will learn while homeless....

Here's an excerpt from Chat GPT

1. The Value of Basic Needs and How Easily They're Taken for Granted

Living without consistent shelter emphasizes how crucial basic necessities are—food, clean water, a place to sleep, and hygiene. Not having these needs met makes it clear just how much people take these things for granted when they are readily available. Simple things like finding a bathroom or staying warm at night become major challenges.

2. The Impact of Isolation and Society’s Judgement

Being homeless often means feeling invisible or judged. Many people avoid eye contact, make assumptions, or treat homeless individuals as less than human. The stigma can create feelings of isolation and hopelessness, as though society has forgotten you. Even well-intentioned people may not fully understand what it’s like or how they could help.

3. Resourcefulness and Mental Resilience

The necessity of surviving without a stable home teaches resourcefulness and mental resilience. Figuring out where to sleep, how to find food, or where to find a safe space demands creativity and adaptability. It also takes immense mental strength to continue on, especially in the face of daily challenges and uncertainty about the future. This resilience becomes an essential survival tool.

These lessons, though harsh, often lead to a deeper appreciation for stability and compassion for others who are struggling.
