Say Belgium, and chocolate immediately comes to mind. Belgian chocolate is world famous. The love story between this small country and the sweet delight has been thriving for generations.

Visiting the chocolate museum and its 14 thematic rooms, a journey telling the story of Belgian chocolate such as Neuhaus (worlds oldest praline) and Godiva. The tour starts in the cocoa plantations of the equator and follows the cocoa bean to world’s largest cocoa storage port in Antwerp. A gigantic fantasy machine demonstrates how chocolate is made and where the velvety smooth taste originates from.

During our tour through the museum we found chocolate traditions, history, brands, products and innovations that have built its worldwide reputation. And we got to taste the fresh made chocolate!

Music: Dani Klein and Vaya con Dios of Belgium:

The first song is „Je L'Aime, Je L'Aime”. It’s Dani Klein’s interpretation of Žarko Jovanović’s lyrics „Gelem, Gelem”, sung by the great (North) Macedonian gypsy queen and diva Esma Redžepova once upon a time. It’s considered the anthem of the Romani people.

The second song is „Pauvre Diable”. A wonderful interpretation in French of the great Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Don Omar’s tunes.

And the last song is Dani Klein’s song in German „Es wird schon wieder gehen”.
