Cuttack is a city in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. It's on a peninsula flanked by the Mahanadi River to the north and the Kathajodi River to the south. The ruins of moated Barabati Fort, once home to the Eastern Ganga dynasty, show the city’s medieval significance. Within the fort's walls lies the Shahi Mosque, with its 3 white domes. Nearby, Maa Cuttack Chandi Temple is a pilgrimage site for Hindu devotees.

Netaji Birth Place Museum is located at Cuttack district of Odisha. The great freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose (Netaji) was born in Cuttack. He spent his childhood at his ancestral home. Now the home has been converted into a Museum which is known as Netaji Birth Place Museum. The house was reconstructed and was announced as a museum officially in 2007. The rooms have been transformed into galleries where you will find different photographs of the Subhas Chandra Bose. You will find photographs of all the stages of Netaji including his childhood, freedom struggle and other important achievements. There is an extensive library at the museum which showcases a collection of books that were published on Netaji in various languages. It also has the autobiography that he had written and was printed in 1355 in Bengali. There are around 500 books present here. The whole museum is decorated on his birthday, and the day is celebrated at the area by conducting blood donating camps, awareness programs, cultural events and other programs. The place is often visited by historians, and those who are strong patriots.

Sri Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhav Prachar Samiti, Cuttack, was founded in 1985. It was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2016, renamed Ramakrishna Mission, and made a sub-centre of the Mission’s branch in Bhubaneswar. It became a full-fledged centre in 2018.
