Are you ready to accept Stefano's challenge?! "Change comes from a total rejection of the life you used to lead.

Stefano has no half measures in stating his convictions about change in this interview that he filmed for us from Melindi in Kenya and that we at stryhunterstv are happy to edit.

There are no compromises in the experience Stefano shares with us. From the Milanese province, which he now considers unlivable, with its people made hysterical and frustrated by the daily race towards purchasing power, to the sense of peace and tranquillity that one achieves in finally being free from the laws of consumption, from the critical gaze of people who often now judge and are judged only for what they possess.

But the choice is not an easy one. Malindi and Kenya are a radical solution. Far from the cultural customs of European countries that make expatriation a less traumatic transition, this region of the African continent, on which the Horn of Africa leans to the north, has an impact that not everyone can absorb.

The external aspects appear hostile to most of our aesthetic canons and poverty is a component that permeates daily life. Poverty can also be spoken of from the point of view of cultural expectations as they are commonly understood in Europe.

And yet, that popular culture, which we may still consider naïve, proves to be rich in the ability to awaken in the crowded European mind a sense of peace, a total extraneousness from the dynamics to which we were subjected and accustomed.

Even the distance from mainstream information, which, with the stratagem of keeping us up to date, invades us with manipulative messages aimed at enslaving us to the logic of fear, of constantly staying above the lines, cloaking situations of extraordinariness or emergency, so that the more or less hidden financial oligarchies and the political ones that benefit and shine from them can act in their own interests, degrading the identity of every individual day after day.

Individuals who are now only asked to conform to the single thought, that of a target that is illusorily rewarded only if it acts according to the logic of the system, at the cost of the loss of their individuality and authenticity.

We need time to live, Stefano tells us in practice, so there can be no change except towards a radical reconquest of the time of one's own life. We need to stop listening to the system's deamicisian communication, which pretends to make us helpless by appealing to our emotional participation in events in which we have no possibility to intervene.

Once the deception has been uncovered and we have become aware of it, all that remains is to save ourselves, also as a political message.

But beware, Stefano warns us, it is not for everyone. So for many the choice will not be so radical. Some will have to be content to orbit within the system that empties and exploits us, will have to accept compromises, or find within themselves a strength and a capacity probably never put to the test.

In this sense, Stefano quotes, at the beginning, one of our videos Due Parole Al Vento Con Leo "the importance of isolating oneself". The ability to isolate oneself requires a great deal of awareness. That is, you need to be clear about what you are trying to isolate yourself from, because if you don't, the things you are trying to distance yourself from will actually stay on your tail and come back to overwhelm you.

So get ready to follow this video interview by asking yourself how far would you be able to go to find a time and a lifestyle that mostly denies what you have lived so far?

Accepting the challenge, taking the opportunity to let yourself be scandalised, as Pasolini would have said, is giving yourself the chance to test the extent of your desires and the need to rediscover the unique time of your existence, of your passage through this world.
