The FW Victoria Tail was one of the German Secret Projects from WW2 but was never flown. This 25" rubber-powered free-flight model was designed in 2007 by Michael Isermann, then beautifully build and flown by Keith Sterner in 2011, using his self-made contra-rotating prop unit. (However, these units are no longer being produced.) The model flew successfully at the WestFAC contest but was flipped by a sudden wind gust, then nosed in, causing heavy damage. It will be restored and flown again in 2024. Photos and film by Tom Hallman & Keith Sterner. Music via ArtList.io.
