In this video, we're gonna get together and learn how to paint a winter angel in a textured, impasto style. This is a good lesson for beginners on up!
I’m painting on a 16x20-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.
I used:
• A 1-inch flat brush
• A firm, 1/2-inch flat brush
• A small filbert
• A small liner brushe
• Piece of chalk
• A palette knife for mixing paint
I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Titanium White
• Ultramarine Blue
• Ivory Black
• Unbleached Titanium White
• Burnt Sienna
• Yellow Oxide (or Ochre)
• Burnt Umber
• Iridescent Medium (optional, can use Transparent Mixing White or Metallic Silver)
• Gloss Heavy Gel (optional, but so much fun!)
But you can use any colors you like.
