This video was made prior to the announcement of the Super Mario RPG remake on Switch, and thus represents the feelings of a fan prior to the remake's announcement, at the peak of frustration with the game's treatment.
Super Mario RPG was a game that changed the Mario series forever, giving the Mario universe some actual definition while also introducing a formula that makes turn-based RPGs fun. It's the reason why we got Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi to begin with.
