A special and rare thing which deserved its own reel and magical soundtrack...I’m very lucky to have one!

Thank you very much @alandadams2018, I’m so grateful you remembered my excitement at seeing one in 2019 and gifted me one in 2022.

It’s an antique Victorian folding pocket compass. Having done a bit of research and ran it by Alan, it’s English, Electrum alloy pillar-type divider drawing instrument, 1900-1910. It comes in a beautiful coffin case, with its aged patina and inside lined with velvet. The magical bonus two hidden mini compasses in each arm. Too cool, perfect for the Victorian Geometer to keep in his pocket when out on the field. No harm of injury with its folded in points. Perfect. The two other types of pocket compasses are called Napier and Swiss.

Anyway had to share..as you know what some of us are like...we love our drawing instruments and this is one of the coolest I have!

Very rare, difficult to find, but you may do so on Ebay or antique shops.
