I always wanted to visit Joshua Tree and to go on a RV trip, so decided to do both! This trip was so fun for me and I loved being able to drive and stay wherever you go. The RV definitely made things very easy to travel and stop whenever tired to take a break.

There was a lot to learn about living in an RV like how to empty the grey and water tank, filling the water tanks, using the generator, propane etc.. I was kind of nervous before going on this trip. I was scared something would happen and I wouldn't know how to fix things, but luckily everything went so smoothly and no hiccups along the way!

Although I had an amazing time, my two dogs did not lol. I did this for them, but they are both timid and fearful so the loud noise of the engine, generator and everything scared them. Also the drive was bumpy and the items in the cabinets would move around and that also made them scared. So even though I had a great time, for my dogs I don't think I can do an RV trip with them anymore 😭

Joshua Tree did not disappoint! We were lucky the weather was so good the first two days but was cold the third. Overnight it can be pretty chilly and windy, so remember to bring layers! Also! Late at night there are soo many stars in the sky. I woke up around 3am cause my dog had to go out and the sky was filled with stars. It was an unforgettable beautiful sight! I loved being in the campground and just staying there to relax. We did short walks but nothing too extravagant.

I love the feeling of disconnecting with the world and staying off social media even if it's for a few days. Please excuse some of my horrible outfit choices, I was mostly in thick sweats and lazy wear. Messy hair and everything haha. But trips like these makes me feel rejuvenated! I think taking moments to nurture yourself is very important and I am slowly learning to work on myself. Always a work in progress 😊
