The HPR-617 shown in the video is an Ikarus 280.40M built in 2001. It entered service at Hajdú Volán in June 2001 and started working on local lines in Debrecen, in the classic Hajdú Volán grey - blue - yellow fleet livery. It operated in Debrecen until the change of the bus operator, when DKV took over the operation of local buses. Then it became redundant and was taken out of service. As it was only 8 years old at the time, it was of course not scrapped but put up for sale. The bus was purchased by Bakony Volán, who put it into service in August 2009. It was used for local services in Várpalota, at first with its original livery, but in June 2010 it was repainted to yellow and has been running with this livery ever since. It was later taken over by ÉNYKK and later by Volánbusz. The last day of operation was 12.04.2024, when the bus was scrapped.
