How To Troubleshoot a front derailleur on your own. I am going to go through troubleshooting the front derailleur. This will be specific to issues regarding upshifting, starting from the smallest chainring in the front onward to the biggest ring on the outside. There will be two potential problems I will address in this video. Too much slack in the front derailleur cable and the high limit screw to tight or screwed down too far into the derailleur. Hope this helps.
