Saman is known as dance of a thousand hands. This dance is one of the most popular traditional dance from Indonesia. Originally, Saman is from ethnic called Gayo.

This dance is performed by Kencana Pradipa in Grand Prix of VII World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2017" and leads Indonesia to be the ABSOLUTE WORLD CHAMPION OF FOLKLORE FOR 2017, GRAND PRIX GOLDEN "ORPHEUS".
